Bow Tie Cinema Kicks-Off with Hospital Benefit

SARATOGA SPRINGS – Ever want to walk the red carpet and pose for with flashing cameras? Well, the opportunity will be there with the opening night celebration of the new Bow Tie Cinema’s Criterion movie theater on Railroad Place. “The red carpet arrival begins at 5:30,” said Cathy Boden, spokeswoman for Saratoga Hospital Foundation. “Come dressed to be photographed in your red carpet best.” Proceeds from the Opening Night celebration will benefit Saratoga Hospital’s Saratoga Community Health Center, which opened last month. The Health Center offers health care
for individuals who are underinsured or have no insurance. Boasting stadium seating with custom leather rocking chairs and Bow Tie’s signature BTX large format auditorium, featuring a 2,000-square-foot screen and 18,000 watts of Dolby digital 7.1 surround sound, Criterion Cinema will show upscale H o l l y w o o d Independent and family films. McGregor Correctional Facility, Republican leaders vowed to fight the governor’s announcement to close the facility along with three others in the state. with gourmet hot dogs and beverages, including beer. “We are looking forward to the opportunity to deliver our trademark mission of ‘Returning Style and Elegance to the Movie Going Experience’ to the Saratoga market,” said Joe Masher, chief operating officer. “For the first time, movie fans in the area will have a wide choice of first run commercial and independent film.” The Opening Night Grand Opening will be Thursday, October 17 at 19 Railroad Place starting at 5:30 p.m. The cocktail party begins at 6:30 p.m., with a private showing of a major, motion picture.
