Ministry is about life in Christ which affects everything we do.
Volunteer Opportunity Can you spare 15‐20 minutes after the 11:00 service
once
a
month?
We
are
seeking
volunteers to help break down the floral arrangements that adorn our Sanctuary each Sunday into 3‐4 floral bouquets. These bouquets are then delivered by another team of volunteers to our Sardis homebound members. Over the years these bouquets have brightened the lives of so many of our homebound members. Wonʹt you become a part of this wonderful ministry? If you are interested, contact Sheila Duyck at 704.364.4637 or sheiladuyck@gmail.com.
Sardis Church Mouse: Ministering to College Students Would you like to become a church mouse to one of our college students? Are you a college student who would like a church mouse? Please contact Georgia Pressly at 704.364.9299.
Volunteers needed for Music Ministry While the Administration Building was closed, our music files were packed up and in storage. We have a lot to go through and could use some help! We need organizers, catalogers, and unpackers as well as adult volunteers for youth music programming each week starting in September. Contact Kaitlyn Davros (kaitlyn.davros@sardis.org) if you have some time to help out! 2

Elizabeth Angerson The Sardis Weekday School is gearing up for the 2021‐2022 school year. We are excited to share that the Weekday School is at full capacity with close to 130
students
(most
classes
with
waitlists). We have many returning families and a lot that have just moved to the Charlotte area and heard great things about us, or researched our program. We are utilizing all 10 classrooms and are welcoming some new staff to our program. Over the past few years the Weekday School has steadily grown in enrollment and to be able to say that we are full (especially in the time of a pandemic) is very exciting. We are looking forward to a wonderful new school year and cannot wait to begin.
