We will not have a Thanksgiving Day service and breakfast this year at Sardis. We encourage you instead to attend the Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:00 pm, hosted by Covenant Presbyterian Church. The speaker this year is Dr. Ron Carter, President, Johnson C. Smith University, with music provided by the Mecklenburg Ministries Interfaith Adult Choir and Children’s Choir. You are invited to bring canned goods to the Thanksgiving service to benefit Loaves and Fishes.
Children of Sardis Christmas Pageant Sunday, December 15
10am (during Sunday School) A gift from the children of Sardis to their church family. Come, receive their gift and celebrate the season through the eyes of our children.
Sardis’ Annual Christmas Banquet & Program December 11, 6:00-7:30pm Join us for a traditional roasted turkey holiday dinner, with all the trimmings. We have a story to tell:
“Rejoice Emmanuel!” Experience a glorious musical pageant featuring a spectacular procession of costumed performers of Bethlehem. You will meet a heavenly host of singing angels, joyful townspeople, Mary and Joseph, watching shepherds, gift-bearing wise men and the children of Bethlehem. Come and rejoice Emmanuel!

Make Your Plans for the Holiday Season Billy Graham Library Christmas The Fellowship Ministry has reserved 75 seats at the Billy Graham Library on December 19 for the Christmas Dinner and all the events. Come enjoy the live nativity and Christmas music, tour the Graham family home, see the holiday decorations, shop at the bookstore, and enjoy all the exhibits in the Billy Graham Barn. Horse drawn carriage rides are also available for an additional fee. A buffet dinner starts at 6:00 pm and includes carved ham and turkey, wild rice, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, cranberry dressing, apple pecan salad, desserts, tea and coffee. The cost for dinner is $18.95 for adults, $8.95 for children under 12, free for children under 3. The church bus will leave Sardis at 5:10 pm and return at 9:00 pm. You can also go to the library any time that day (if you arrive before 3:00 pm there is no parking fee) and join the group at 6:00 pm for dinner. Parking for the event is $10 per car, cash only. Dinner is limited to 75 reservations. Register at www.sardis.org by noon, November 25. Payment for dinner will be made by each individual/family directly to the Billy Graham Library that night.
