Sarina Russo Institute Conditions of Enrolment (Domestic Students) Fees 1. All fees are payable to Sarina Russo Institute (SRI) at time of enrolment or as per agreed payment plan 2. Accredited training is GST exempt 3. Fees are correct at time of publishing and may vary at any time without prior notice. 4. Students’ total fees include course materials, which may incur GST. 5. Failure to pay fees may result in the student’s enrolment being cancelled

Deferral, Suspension or Cancellation 1. If a student wishes to defer their enrolment or take leave of absence until a later date, SRI will hold the fees paid for a maximum of 6 months as at the date advised in writing without levying a penalty. If the student subsequently cancels or exceeds this agreed holding period, all fees paid will be automatically surrendered to and become the absolute property of SRI 2. Courses offered by SRI may be subject to student enrolment numbers. 3. Relevant SRI delegate must give approval to proceed with a deferral, suspension or transfer (internal). Refer to Refund Information below. 4. A student may transfer (internal) to another course at SRI and pay any cost difference if the new course is more expensive. 5. SRI will not transfer (internal) fees to another Registered Training Provider, or to another currently enrolled student, unless arranged at time of enrolment. 6. Where a student is referred and sponsored by a Job Search Agency provider or a Disability Employment Service provider, the following applies: • Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. • Cancellations of students must be notified to SRI no less than 2 business days prior to the commencement of a course. • Cancellations of students that are advised less than 2 business days prior to the commencement of a course will incur a service fee of 75% of the course fee. SRI will take reasonable steps to confirm attendance for course commencement with students. Non-attendance for course commencement by a student will be regarded as a cancellation without sufficient notice. *Compassionate or Compelling Circumstances are defined as circumstances that are beyond the control of a student and which have an impact upon the student’s course progress or wellbeing. These could include, but are not limited to: • serious illness or injury, where a medical certificate states that the student was unable to attend classes • bereavement of close family members such as parents or grandparents (where a death certificate should be provided) • major political upheaval or natural disaster, or • a traumatic experience, which has impacted the student (these cases should be supported by police or psychologists’ reports), which could include an involvement in, or witnessing of an accident, or witnessing or being the victim of crime Students will need to provide appropriate evidence supporting their request. 7. SRI reserves the right to suspend or cancel a student’s enrolment at any time due to breach of the Code of Conduct or non-payment of fees. In the event where the suspension or cancellation is initiated by SRI, we will issue an Intention to Suspend or Cancel, and the student has 20 working days in which to access our Grievance and Appeals procedure, unless extenuating circumstances relating to the welfare of the student apply. 8. Refer to refund information below.

Refund Information When an applicant accepts a place offered by virtue of enrolment, Sarina Russo Schools Australia Pty Ltd ABN 390 101 29325, trading as Sarina Russo Institute, a binding Student Written Agreement between the person/s who entered the agreement and SRI comes into effect subject to the conditions below. 1. This agreement is subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Queensland. 2. All refund requests, notifications of cancellations, deferrals or suspensions of enrolment must be submitted using the Student Request for Refund form along with any relevant supporting information.. 3. A course commencement date will be taken as the original course commencement date as shown on the student’s first Student Written Agreement. Where a student defers and subsequently cancels, refund eligibility will be based on original student agreement 4. Any approved refund provision will be paid by SRI in the same currency in which the fees were paid, to the person/s who has entered into a Student Written Agreement with SRI unless another person has been nominated as the recipient as per the Refund Request Form 5. Where a person who has entered into a contract with SRI does not start the course or cancels their course at any time, SRI will retain the cancellation amounts indicated below. All other funds held by SRI will be refunded within 28 working days of receipt of a written refund request from the person who has entered into a Student Written Agreement with SRI when a Student Request for Refund form is submitted for consideration. 6. An enrolment fee that has been charged as part of a University Access program is not refundable. 7. No refund is given if a person who has entered into a Student Written Agreement with SRI is expelled by SRI. 8. This agreement in conjunction with the SRI Grievance and Appeals Policy does not remove the right of the student to investigate legal remedies or take action under Australia’s Consumer Laws.

Refunds The below statements do not apply where students have been referred and sponsored by a Job Service Agency or Disability Employment Service provider or if they are a Registered Trainee or Apprentice. STUDENT CANCELLATION PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT - notification of cancellation more than 2 business days prior to commencement date will receive a refund – of the total course cost less 10% as administration fee STUDENT CANCELLATION AFTER COMMENCEMENT DATE – notification less than 2 business days prior to commencement date will receive a partial refund being a maximum of 25% of full course fees paid. OTHER – Including compassionate/compelling circumstance/s (refer point 2) will receive a refund less an administrative fee equal to 10% of the total tuition value of the remaining units of study.
