FEBRUARY, 2021 ISSUE 12

First Loves BY BRAD CATES, CEO We like to be on the leading edge of innovation here at Sarreid, whether it be in design or business practice. That is why we have recently joined the First Tuesday movement in High Point, welcoming customers to do business with us in the Sarreid showroom during nonMarket times. Specifically, we are opening the First Tuesday of each month and remaining open each Designer Wednesday too. And, as shopping habits continue to evolve, we will be available to work face-toface (masked up of course) by appointment in our continuing efforts to serve you in an exciting, inspirational, and safe environment

Inside this Issue LUXE LOFT & DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT PERFECT PAIRINGS REASONS TO LOVE SARREID

When the pandemic hit, Sarreid was among the first to depart from the traditional Market introduction cycle in an effort to ensure we had (and have!) our best-sellers in stock for you. We wanted to be at the forefront of other best business practices as well, so we quickly moved to introduce new designs via Zoom meetings and video, and to support everything we create with studio-quality photography designed to help you promote and share your own stories with clients and customers via social media marketing and more. In fact, herewith, we offer a first look at our latest video in our Wilson warehouse with more great things to come. As North Carolina native author Nicholas Sparks has said, “There’s no love like the first.” I know, I married mine and this Valentine’s Day Jodi Cates has proved once again that she is all in, as we complete our move here to Wilson for our next big adventure together. As we seek to make Sarreid the resource you think of first for all things extraordinary and unique, I’m anticipating many more firsts ahead. But first, from the entire team: Happy Valentine’s Day!

The Huntley

Brewers Hill

When we think about what Luxe Loft means, we think of spaces characterized by spacious floor plans, industrial architectural features, high ceilings, and plenty of windows. Lofts are sought-after spaces for city living and also very commonly the backdrop of hospitality/contract projects. It is a designer’s job to make these spacious rooms feel less stark and cold by filling them with pieces that bring warmth and softness. This is where we come in! We love collaborating with designers on hospitality and contract projects and to see Sarreid products playing a starring role in exciting, highprofile spaces. Here are a few special places from the creative minds at CID Design Group where Sarreid made the scene. The Huntley, Atlanta, GA Yes, that is the Harley Chair and the Haviland Dining Table looking tres chic and inviting at The Huntley, the epitome of luxury apartment living in Buckhead. The Halcyon Hotel, Alpharetta, GA Employing raw industrial elements, symbolic of the new wave of Atlanta design, CID Design Group created an inviting and nostalgic atmosphere. Plan a romantic getaway here and you’re sure to encounter our Harley and Ziegfeld Chairs, along with our Pebble Bench.

Objects of attraction: Iron accents on the Tribal Square Centre Table and the Antwerp Couch are simply magnetic.

Personally, we are always in the mood for a good romance novel. Show off your love of the printed word with the Florentine Books Chairside Chest and its significant other: The Welsh Leather Chair in Vintage Cigar.

C onsumers everywhere are having an affair of the heart with home and are eager to take their budding relationships to the next level. Given the state of our industry’s supply chain, however, it is not so simple for many to move in together these days.

To ensure your customers and clients are feeling the love, we have stocked up on a number of best-selling designs sure to make any heart beat a little faster. And, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we have brought together those that we believe are simply made for each other, like peanut butter and jelly, cookies and milk, Lois and Clark or (insert your fav famous pairing here). Just remember, if you like what you see here, make your move. In love—as in today’s now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t shopping environment—he who hesitates is lost!

Go on, swoon. The deconstructed Welsh Chair in wood, linen, burlap, and vintage Cuba brown leather will be there to catch your fall. Then, put your feet up on the Soccerball Stool and settle in for a long winter’s night by the fire.

From “We’ll always have Paris,” to “You know how to whistle don’t you,” it’s all about delivering a great line. Here’s a couple examples of how we do it: The Strap Canvas & Leather Stool and Suspension Console Table.

Texture is the name of the dating game now and the Persian Sideboard and Mistral Wall Mirror have all the feels.

Trouble expressing feelings? Love letters will practically write themselves at this Open Desk With Shelves and Marble Top. Just pick up a pen and get comfortable in its ideal mate: The Andrew Jackson Desk Chair in Chateau Blue.
