Sustainability Today’s consumers are increasingly interested in sustainably designed furnishings and spaces. According to the Sustainable Furnishings Council’s Green Home Furnishings Consumer Study, 98 percent of respondents expressed concern about environmental issues, with 76 percent reporting they are willing to pay more for home furnishings that are both stylish and environmentally safe. .

The last few months have been a challenge for all of us. Yet, during this time, Sarreid has increased production of our top-selling products across our global supply chain, and products continue to arrive at our warehouse daily. While many companies have buckled under the pressure of the pandemic, we have maintained an amazing pace in new product development.

In fact, we currently have more than 300 exciting, completely new products in production, with even more in development across all of our categories.

Here's the best part: In mid- to late September, we will begin receiving these latest introductions.

As product arrives, we will shoot extensive photography and video from every angle to give you full buying confidence in a contact-free environment. Better yet, we’re not talking samples here, and we’re not waiting around for a Market to decide to order more. We’ve backed up all of the new products with stock that is available immediately for purchase and shipment.

Though 2020 has shaken up how we do business as an industry, I’m very proud to say that Sarreid has implemented strategies that significantly shorten the traditional go-to-Market timeline, enabling us to provide you with great, innovative designs on a 24/7, 365-day schedule moving forward. With the lack of available stock the most significant challenge retailers and designers are facing now, you won’t want to miss a single opportunity, so be sure to stay tuned to our Eblasts, social media posts and YouTube channel to take full advantage. Our marketing team is doing everything they can to keep you informed and poised to reap the benefits of this all-important selling season.

Beacon Hill Display Case One of Sarreid’s hallmarks is large-scale storage with working locks. In our line for a while, the tall Beacon Hill Display Case is ideal for storing books, plates and more, thanks to drawers underneath. At Pre-Market, we showed off a new handrubbed, hand-applied finish.

Oak Dining Table Oh those legs! The Oak Dining Table features a solid top and generously scaled, hand-turned legs, strategically positioned at the outer edges of the piece to maximize seating capacity.

FALL REFRESH September brings a change of season and for many, a change of outlook. As Mother Nature makes her transition to cooler temps and autumn color, it's the perfect time to hit the design reset button. Around here, we're taking in all the beauty of Fall, while setting new goals to end 2020 strong.

This is the time to refresh showroom floors and personal spaces, de-cluttering and sprucing up in anticipation of the holiday decor on the near horizon. It's time to get moving (we're getting our steps in each day by walking laps in our 90,000-square-foot warehouse). Here's a few of the ways we're greeting the season. Enjoy!

Aunt Sara's Banana Nut Bread

4.Pull Out Fall Recipes September, 2020

3 cups all purpose flour 3/4 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 2 cups sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts 3 eggs, beaten 1 cup vegetable oil 2 cups mashed ripe bananas 1 8oz can crushed pinapple drained 2 tsp vanilla extract

Combine first 5 ingredients; stir in pecans. Combine remaining ingredients; add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3" loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans, and let cool on wire racks.

Yields 2 loaves.
