Adapt and Reuse of old Building and cleaning up alleyways into Walkable passage ways
Project Type
Architectural Design/Layout
Project Information
Old Building in Downtown St. Charles has been debated over with what its purpose is. It has been vacant for 6+ years and it is in very bad condition. We (PFG) were hired to do multiple studies of the possibilities of what the building could develop into if it was torn down or re-modeled.
My Role
My task was to create 3D visuals and floor plans of existing and new spaces. After Field measuring with the Project Architect, I was in charge ( with the direction of the Lead Architect)of making the Revit model and help cast the vision to the City Council with 3D views and Renderings.

Pool on 55th Floor in Chicago High-rise
Project Type
Architectural Design & 3D Renderings
Project Information
Clients needed visuals of different options of tiles for the remodel of pool area.
My Role
My task was to create 3D visuals of different tile options. I took the floor plan files that were already drafted in AutoCad and imported it in Revit as a base for the Revit model of the pool area to make 3D visuals. All tiles depicted are the actual tiles that the clients where looking at. I formated them to the actual sizes into Revit by creating custom material swatches in Photoshop.

Remodel of Home for ADA Accessibility
Project Type
Architectural Design & 3D Renderings
Project Information
Our Client ,who is Wheel Chair Bound, hired PFG to remodel a house that she bought to meet her ADA needs.
My Role
My task was to support the Project Architect. With my skills in Revit I accelerated the Drawing Set by being able to produce multiple drawings faster. Since the Project Architect only knew AutoCad, I built a Revit Model from the Floor Plans She drew in AutoCad. I provided the Interior Elevations, Sections, and 3D renderings from the Revit Model. I exported the interior elevations and sections to AutoCad so the Project Architect Could import it into the Drawing set she was working on.

“We received qualifications from eight architectural firms and narrowed the selection process down to three. PFG engaged the issues immediately. They listened to us. Prairie Forge Group delivered what they promised. We are grateful and satisfied with our city hall and police station.” Scot Wrighton Streator Public Safety + City Hall Renovation

This renovation was extensive and special in that it was for an Owner who is paraplegic, confined to a wheelchair, and has a 24/7 in-home health-care assistant. All access points to the house required ADA accessible improvements. The owner wanted to be able to move around and do as much as possible for herself. The kitchen was completely renovated to insure this avid baker could reach all her equipment and ingredients, work at a large open-island counter space, and sit at the sink and stove top. “The Prairie Forge Group does a fabulous job making you and your company a part of their team. They truly focus on the clients’ needs and wants and derive a solution that works within budgets and functionality.”
“PFG has done an exceptional job partnering with the hotel, completing work several days ahead of the target dates.” Dieter Heigl General Manager Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel
Prairie Forge Group (PFG) provided pre-construction and construction phase services for the Guest Tower improvements. We managed the construction of multiple trades for this 500-room and club lounge renovation project.
Todd Tucker, Director Byron Forest Preserve District
“Without the help of every single person at PFG, I would never have been able to move out of the nursing home and into my own home. Everyone at PFG has made a dream come true for me! I cannot thank everyone there enough for allowing me to lead a somewhat independent life as much as I can. Thank you , PFG, I love each and every one of you for doing what you did for me.”
The Museum portion of the project consisted of a theater, exhibits, and models. The design intent was to create an interactive, updated exhibit space which provides connection to the landscape and prairie habitation. The new Overlook Deck addition provides outdoor access for Museum visitors, while offering a reception banquet venue for community events.
