Our School Community

École Victoria, is a great place for your child to learn and grow. We have a diverse population of approximately 450 students housed in one of Saskatoon’s first schools. We are in the heart of Nutana, an eco-conscious and arts-focused community. École Victoria is part of an active, vibrant landscape with a strong School Community Council and Parent Council.

We offer a single-stream French Immersion program to students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 exclusively. Our staff is deeply focused on supporting students in developing language and cultural identities and key goals such as building strong readers, writers, and mathematicians who are flexible and have a strong number sense. Our school offers Arts Education, Band, and Physical Education programs led by specialist teachers.

Our French Immersion Program

Our French Immersion program is designed to develop strong language skills and French culture in our students. We encourage students to enter the French Immersion program in Kindergarten or Grade 1. Starting their French immersion language learning journey in their early years allows students to make the greatest language growth and to reach their full potential because of the strong emphasis on oral language development. Our students continue their language development in each grade by engaging linguistic activities to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing French skills.
