Picasso and his women Practicality + Recreation + high-tech gadgets = Multiplex Space During Picasso’s life, seven women influenced the changes in his work. His works can be divided into six eras, each affected by the woman he loved at the time. Among these eras, we chose the Cubist period and his works during the period to architecturally design our hotel.

Picasso and his women The Picasso Hotel
Client In the modern society, workers get stressed easily, but are without proper ways to relieve that stress and remain cut from a civilized life. By putting “art” on their side, they can evoke their emotions again and feel relaxed.
Story Picasso is the founder and master of Cubism. Changes in his works have been possible because of the seven women. We hope to create a space where modern people can vicariously experience his life.
Motive In a hotel where people can view Picasso’s various styles at a glance, we look to provide rest through art for modern people living in a desolate society. We hope that our clients will immerse themselves in Picasso works for their own enjoyment.

Cubist Masterpiece < Les Demoiselles d’Avignon >
<Les Demoiselles d’Avignon> is a work that started the Cubist period. Picasso distorted, flattened, and combined multiple perspectives of the bodies of five sensual women to create the first piece of the Cubist works.
Cubist Architecture
Derived from “Analytic Cubism”, Cubist Architecture currently influences Czech Architectural Cubism.
