Judge condemns ‘racist, evil’ crime as he sentences Gary Dobson and David Norris. Two men were finally jailed today for the racist murder of Stephen Lawrence nearly 19 years ago. Gary Dobson and David Norris have been jailed for a minimum of 15 years and two months and 14 years and three months respectively over the murder of black teenager Stephen Lawrence. The judge ordered the Metropolitan police to continue with its investigation into the murder and praised Detective Chief Inspector Clive Driscoll, the senior investigating officer in the latest investigation. The pair were sentenced at the Old Bailey after being found guilty of the 1993 killing on Tuesday. Iran threatens to take action
