Born and raised in East Hampton, Will Schumann graduated from East Hampton High School in 2006. He then attended Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut, earning a BA in Environmental Studies in 2010 and playing lacrosse throughout his college career. He spent the next three years working in Manhattan in environmental consulting and then office leasing.
Will always knew it was only a matter of time before he would leave the city and move back to the Hamptons. He enjoyed Manhattan, but his mind kept wandering east and eventually he know it was time to come home. “My father used to be a commercial fisherman in Montauk,” he explains, “and growing up I spent countless days on or near the water. I am an avid recreational fisherman and if I can’t be out on a boat, spending the day at one of our local beaches makes for a nice consolation prize.” In addition to fishing, his hobbies include sailing, hiking, spearfishing and other outdoor activities. Will is still involved in lacrosse and has been helping out with East Hampton’s youth program whenever he can.

Originally from California, Ed moved to New York City in 1998 with his wife, Mariah, working for Morgan Stanley. They relocated to the East End in 2002 to raise their two daughters in East Hampton, who are both off to terrific Universities: Miami and Tulane. Mariah is an educator and founder of Playful Learning Studio located in East Hampton Village, and she is a wonderful resource for those considering raising children in the Hamptons. While off the clock, Ed enjoys spending time in nature, long beach walks, surfing, skiing, and golf.

Through our affiliated title business, New York Title Abstract Services, we run title on each Saunders exclusive listing as soon as we are engaged by the client. Theresa Quigley, Esq. is our Executive Managing Director and General Counsel. She has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years in NYC and the Hamptons. Theresa directly assists our agents with zoning analysis, structuring transactions, and negotiating deals. She interfaces with local government officials, surveyors, title companies, environmental engineers, house inspectors, and lenders in an effort to move our transactions forward.
