Permits for parking are required at Town Beach facilities from 9 am until 9 pm beginning May 26th through Labor Day.
Full season permits costs $40 per vehicle for residents of the Town and $375 per vehicle for non-residents. Daily parking is available at the following beaches for $25 per day, 7 days a week: Mecox & Jobs Lane, Foster Memorial, Pikes, Tiana, Ponquogue. Daily parking is available at Sagg Main Beach in Sagaponack for $25 per day (weekdays only).

Full season resident and non-residents permits will be available as follows: - May 2nd through June 22th at designated location at Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road, Southampton from 10am to 3pm, Monday, Thursday & Friday. - May 1st through Labor Day at the Parks & Recreation Admin Building, 6 Newtown Road, Hampton Bays from 8:30am to 4pm, weekdays. - Beginning Memorial Day at all beaches (weather permitting) - Via mail to: Southampton Town Parks & Recreation Office, ATTN: Beach Permit Application, 6 Newtown Road, Hampton Bays, NY 11946. Both residents and non-residents must provide the following: - Completed 2014 Beach Parking Permit Application at: https://www.southamptontownny.gov/DocumentCenter/View/9391/2018-Beach-Parking-Permit-Application-PDF - A copy of a valid vehicle registration - A copy of a driver’s license - A telephone number Homeowners must also provide an original, current tax bill name to match the vehicle registration, or current vehicle registration with a Town of Southampton address, or a valid driver’s license with a Town address to match the name on the vehicle registration. Year-Round renters must also provide current driver’s license and vehicle registration with a local address on it or three utility bills (cable or electric), one current, one dated 6 months prior, and one dated 12 months prior. Leases are not acceptable proof of residency. Residents with local P.O. Boxes must show some form of proof for a physical mailing address within the town. Residents must also provide a check or money order in the amount of $40 per vehicle, payable to “Town of Southampton.” Non-residents must also provide a check or money order in the amount of $375 per vehicle, payable to “Town of Southampton.”
