DESCRIPTION: of garbage trucks that use the alley, and high enough that I wont easily be able to take anything up there to distract myself from being alone.
The Re-Center is a place where I can Re-Center myself physically and mentally. Physically because I will pull the hammock out then center myself between utility poles. Mentally because it is a place where I can rest. This is a place where I can be alone for a few minutes out of my constantly social days.
The Re-Center is a place for me to escape school and home with 5 roommates and be alone. I need to RE locate myself to this space for REcreation, REviving, REsting, and Reflecting. Everything is structurally in tension while I release my tension and RE-Center myself.
The structure is high enough to be out of the way anything and be alone. Reflecting. myself.
The hammock is knotted with a square knot, which is minimal, but strong enough to hold me. The cables hold the hammock in tension, while I release my own tension.
