This beautiful orange and white domestic shorthair was brought into the shelter in mid May by a gentleman found him hanging around the 100 block of West Penn Street in Shelbyville. Based on his ginger coloring, we named him Prince Harry! Prince Harry has been neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm, wormed and microchipped through AVID. He is 3-years-old and weighs over ten pounds. He is faithful with his litter box and keeps his kennel clean! Hold him, love him, he likes everyone and is alert to his surroundings. This handsome feline is free to a loving forever home!

Meet Jack

Our little show dog, Jack the Fox Terrier. In early April a woman called the animal shelter stating she had taken an elderly dog from a family and needed it to be picked up and rehomed. Jack went to Vet Tech Institute to be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, and returned to the shelter for adoption. He is eight years old and struts his stuff like a champion show dog with his stub tail just vibrating. Because we were never able to get his story, we aren't sure about his habits in a home, but he keeps his kennel tidy, is happy around children and appears to ignore other dogs! Jack has more personality in his little body than any big dog! His adoption fee has been waived making this little spitfire free to a forever home.

Jordan was came to us in March by a man who found her out on 775 East in Shelby County. He wanted to help this almost one-year-old white and gray domestic shorthair so he paid her adoption fee. She was selected to head to the incredible Vet Tech Institute and is now spayed, current on all vaccinations, wormed, microchipped through AVID and tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm. This six pound cat is a bit aloof, and will hide behind her litter box and peak out but comes forward when her door opens or she sees her food bowl getting filled! She is litter box trained, kid-friendly and appears to get along with other cats. At her young age, we're sure she would do fine in a home with a dog.
