Big Letters Bringing wit and fun to any space, our Big Letters make sure your business stands out from the competition. This truly original product offers a cool and funky approach to traditional letter advertising. Ideal for corporate reception areas, studios, restaurants, hotels and private residences, our Big Letters will create a Big impression. Our Big Letters can be designed to incorporate any chosen design. In the past, we have taken to using a variety of media from soft drink cans, newspapers, veneers and even retro comics to add flourishes of colour and vibrancy. Our saying when it comes to our design is - if you can dream it, we will create it.
Exquisite Moorish Tiles Echoing the distinctive decorative style found in the magnificent Alhambra Palace, our Moorish Tiles add a richness and vibrancy to any space. With the Mediterranean and North African influences of their cultural heritage, each tile when set in place, can like Alhambra, be described as a ‘pearl set in emeralds’. Vibrant and striking in colour, and offered in a range of designs and finishes, all work equally well either framed or as wall coverings. On their own or together, they create simply stunning works of art. All the tiles in our collection have been lovingly crafted in the United Kingdom. Each tile has been faithfully reproduced from the original carvings found in the 14th century Alhambra citadel.
Frames and Mirrors Bringing drama and majesty to any room, our frames and mirror designs generate a profound statement. Creating a visually striking focal point to an environment is our goal and we delight in doing so through unusual media. For the Art Union it has always been the quirkier the better when it comes to materials. Past works have seen us delving into nature and utilising butterflies for inspiration to create stunningly beautiful box frames. Other designs have opted for the more whimsical approach, creating Heath Robinson-esque works out of framed paper planes.
Plasterwork and Sculpture In a convergence of old and new, our plasterwork design offers a fusion of classical design with modern flourishes. Utilising an endless variety of period styles from baroque to post-modern our designers excel in transforming pre-existent styles into beautiful ornamental features. Previous designs delved into prehistoric times using ammonite fossils for inspiration whilst others turned towards the art-deco leanings of the 1930s. Drawing on the Manhattan decor of city architecture, our designers reproduced an exquisite carved relief bird panel to stunning effect.
