Many of our students and their families face hunger, homelessness, poverty, mental health challenges, and insufficient healthcare. Today, 1 in 5 Florida children live in Through no fault of their own, the children struggle with homelessne mental health challenges, commu violence, access to basic necessit food, proper clothing, health care more – all burdens they carry to s that interfere with their ability to learn.

Through the Community Partnership Schools™ model, Children's Home Society of Florida – along with our co-founding and strategic partner, the University of Central Florida – has convened nearly 50 key partners, including school districts, universities and health care providers, to make 25+ year commitments to address these critical issues affecting success in the classroom and beyond.

Since implementing the Community Partnership Schools™ model, we've seen graduation rates skyrocket an average of 30 percent, immediately bringing more opportunities for students to succeed. We have seen disciplinary rates drop, out-of-school suspensions dropped by 94 percent – and that's the trend we're seeing. Community Partnership Schools will dramatically improve educational equity and lifetime outcomes for generations.

What makes a Community Partnership School unique?
