HAITI MEDICAL MISSIONS OF MEMPHIS 24 HOUR TOUR D'ESPRIT Director: Genie Ashworth Email: washworth@comcast.net Phone: 901-233-3171 Distance: continuous certified one (1) mile loop When: 9/30/2016 3:00 pm – 10/1/2016 3:00 pm Where: Memphis, TN Church of the Holy Spirit, 2300 Hickory Crest Dr. For beginner, intermediate, advanced marathon--individuals, families, teams--continuous certified one mile loop on church property and adjacent Holmes Park and best described as part road, part path in the woods and part trail--computer chip worn on ankle records each mile completed--walk or run as much as you like over the 24 hour period--staff support throughout the entire 24 hours, as well as, night time lighting of the course--teams consist of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 24 (batons may be used)--team shirts, etc. are encouraged-complimentry race t-shirt and goody bag--campsites available but check website for specific information. $30.00 prior to Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016. This is the deadline for online registration—after that time, the registration fee is $35.00 and can be paid on site. Participants may register and pay the $35.00 throughout the race. Team registration (Captain/ team name/and estimated # of participants) requested by the same September 27th deadline—any addition of a new team after September 27th, will require the team captain notifying the race director prior to the morning of the race. Archbishop Arthur Roche "Mercy and the Spiritual Life"

No admission charge; a voluntary donation of $10 per person donation would be appreciated to help offset the cost of bringing Archbishop Roche to Memphis. Archbishop Arthur Roche serves in the Holy See as Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, a position to which he was appointed in 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI. Archbishop Roche is also a member of the Pontifical Council for Culture, to which he was named by Pope Francis in 2014. Prior to his appointment to his current role, Archbishop Roche served as bishop of Leeds, England, dating back to 2002, following one year as auxiliary bishop of Westminster, England.
