COMMUNITY NEWS

Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering towards slaughter. If you say, "but we knew nothing about this," does not He who weighs the hearts perceive it? Does not He who guards your life know it? Will He not repay each person according to what he has done? Proverbs 24:11-12 In October 1916, Margaret Sanger opened her first birth control clinic, later expanded into the American Birth Control League which was renamed Planned Parenthood in 1942. They performed their first abortion in 1970 and have since become the nation’s largest abortion chain and foremost advocate of abortion on demand. As Planned Parenthood turns 100, #ProtestPP will confront them with prayer—solemn Jericho Marches and Candlelight vigils to be held at their facilities throughout the United States. Saturday, October 15 at 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM On October 15 Memphians will gather to peacefully stand for life with a candlelight vigil outside of Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic at 2430 Poplar Ave. We gather to speak the truth about the barbaric abortions that take place not only in Planned Parenthood, but also in similar clinics across the nation. The abortion industry is determined to suppress the truth about abortion, and so it is necessary that we do not remain silent on this matter. We therefore gather to speak the truth and stand up for life in a public forum.
