17 February - 7 March Beakheads and Mystery Men Sam Mace
Sam’s first exhibition at the High House is a series of original lino prints which have been directly inspired by the Norman stone carvings around the chancel arch in St. Chad's Church Stafford.
10 March - 21 March Seas, Shores, Hills and Tors Freda Harris
By subtle use of tone and light and using a variety of media, including embellished work, Freda draws her inspiration from the environment in the most interesting and unusual ways.
17 March - 25 April Hoof-Prints in the Desert Staffordshire Yeomanry Museum History Exhibition
The Exhibition follows the men and horses of the Staffordshire Yeomanry as they prepared for War in East Anglia and then join the Cavalry Division in Egypt and Palestine. It describes how the soldiers coped with looking after their horses at sea and then in the harsh environment of the Middle Eastern Desert as they pursued the Turkish forces through a barren and inhospitable landscape. Supported by the Trustees of Staffordshire Yeomanry Museum.

Pedro makes a welcome return with a fascinating selection of unusual and colourful paintings.
14 April - 25 April The Love of the Land Gwyneth Davy
Having developed her techniques through interpretation of the emotions she feels when presented with the landscapes, Gwyneth has put together a wonderful collection of paintings for this exhibition.
28 April - 16 May Annual Selected Exhibition Stafford Art Group
A collection of selected work in mixed media by the talented members of Stafford Art Group.
5 May - 18 July VE Day 70th Anniversary Commemoration: Stafford’s role in the Victory in Europe 1945 History Exhibition
A look back at the vital role played by the county town and its inhabitants during the dark days of the Second World War. Highlighting the work of local people on the Home Front and within the armed services. Supported by local collections.
19 May - 30 May Saving Memories Hilary Jefferies-Brandsom
Mixed media paintings of the changing landscape and the habitat of our natural environment. By applying a combination of expressive brush strokes using light and movement Hilary achieves a sense of mystery to a variety of subjects.
2 June - 20 June People and Places | Ron Satterthwaite
Painted in acrylics and oils and occasionally drawn in charcoal pencil, this is a varied exhibition of landscapes and portraits. By using warm and cool tones Ron gives vibrancy to his work.
23 June - 4 July Painting For Pleasure | Stafford College
Participants in classes run by Stafford College, and taught by Janet Mellonie, at Walton Community Centre, have worked together to create a collection of mixed media paintings and embroideries.
23 June - 4 July Glorious Contemporary and Traditional Textiles Rose Gallery | Stafford Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild
Members of the Stafford Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild and their young embroiderers have created a stunning variety of traditional and contemporary embroideries and textiles. Embroidery demonstrations will also take place throughout the weeks on display.

Ceramicist and printmaker Stephen Dixon’s new ceramic work inspired by objects, photographs and documents relating to the First World War from archive and museum collections in Staffordshire. Stephen's work explores our responses to the Great War a hundred years on.

Saturday 5 September 10am - 4pm Resonance: Reflections on the Great War through artworks inspired by Staffordshire collections. Family workshops
Stephen Dixon: artist in residence for the day, invites the public to contribute to an installation of commemorative mugs, which will feature in the touring exhibition. Participants can bring historic photographs and documents of family members who took part in World War I (Front Line or Home Gront) to be printed onto ceramics. Funded by Arts Council England
