T

he patent pending Cyclator process featuring a unique feed-forward (FF) cycle is a fully automatic, simple to operate, time-based biological treatment system that responds to flow and load variations, is easily expandable and produces a high quality effluent. The processes of oxidation, nitrification, denitrification, biological phosphorous removal and liquids/solids separation are achieved in a single basin. Cyclators can be built in single or multiple tank configurations, in any desired shape. The Biodec decanter is Cyclator’s beating heart. This equally unique floating type decanter provides consistent flow rate while retaining operational simplicity and a straightforward build. The unit hovers above the liquid surface on an air cushion in the “park” position and is gently lowered to the “operate” or decant position after the settle phase by releasing the air. The unique feed forward (FF) cycle distributes the contents of the select zone to the react zone. MLSS mixes with the influent in the select zone and provides selectivity and hydrolysis of particulate organics. In the FF cycle, this “food” from the select zone is fed to the “bugs” in the react zone ensuring superior process efficiency and BNR operations. Sludge regeneration and selectivity are also achieved resulting in lower SVI’s while stratification prevents effluent contamination. Because of the FF cycle, the Cyclator utilizes mor than 90% of the cycle time for “process” functions. Please watch our video for more information:

Cyclator cycles Cyclator cycles are designed to achieve complete nutrient removal. As the process has continual feed and incorporates a sludge hydrolysis zone, there is always enough carbon to maintain biological phosphorus removal and denitrification.
