Peer Review Seminars

Aim High T

he American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) established the Peer Review Program to enhance

the quality of accounting, auditing, and attestation services performed by AICPA members in public practice. The AICPA Peer Review Program illustrates the accounting profession’s dedication to integrity and protection of the public and is driven by adherence to the highest possible professional standards. Therefore, aim high and attend one of these seminars to ensure your firm is ready for peer review or to become a peer reviewer to evaluate your peers in an effort to protect the public and safeguard the integrity of the profession. In 2007, the South Carolina Board of Accountancy mandated that all firms that perform attest services must have a peer review.

For engagement peer reviews, select the necessary accounting engagements, review of the engagements and report the results of the peer review.
