Saved from the Flood
Genesis 6-8
Before the earth was flooded, God told Noah to build a boat. The boat was called an ark and was big enough to hold Noah’s family and two of every kind of animal on earth.
Rain poured down for forty days and forty nights until the flood covered the highest mountain peaks!
A Very Brave Boy
1 Samuel 16:1-13 & 17:34-37
David had eight brothers, and he was the youngest of them. He took care of his father’s sheep in the field. David said, “I have killed lions and bears when they
have dared to try to take my sheep.� He fought the giant, Goliath, who dared to laugh at God’s people and mock their God.
Daniel Trusts in God

Daniel was a righteous man. His enemies made a law that everyone must pray to the king instead of God.
They caught Daniel praying to God, so he was thrown into a den of lions. But, God sent His angel so the lions wouldn’t hurt Daniel.
The First Christmas

Shepherds in a field were told by an angel, “Today in King David’s town, a little baby has been born. You’ll find Him asleep on a bed of hay.”
“The angel said He is Christ the Lord,� the shepherds told Mary. Wise men came, too, bringing precious gifts for the new born king.
Jesus Calms the Storm
Mark 4:35-41
“Jesus, help us!� the disciples cried when a storm almost sunk the ship, but Jesus was sound asleep.
Jesus woke up and told the waves and wind, “Be quiet and still!” All at once, it was calm and peaceful again. “Why were you afraid?” Jesus asked the disciples.
