Manage your team Scania Fleet Management is a set of computerised tools and services that connect your vehicles with your office. A combination of GPS technology and easy to use on-board computers helps you run more efficient assignments and provides analysis and reports on vehicles, routes and driving performance including optional digital tachograph remote download capabilities. Incremental options to suit your business Scania Fleet Management is available in a range of three clearly defined service packages which allow you to enhance the service as your operational requirements change.
Monitor Package is an effective, easy to use, service that puts you on the right track to improving fleet economy - even for smaller fleets. You’ll get weekly summary reports sent directly to your email address; covering every one of your vehicles. You can see at a glance how each is performing and identify those in need of attention. The report provides a basic fleet overview with general performance indicators (fuel consumption, CO2 emission), performance trends and deviations without access to the Scania Fleet Management Portal (FMP) Analysis Package is particularly suitable for operators who want to focus on both vehicle and driver performance. The package provides access through the Scania Fleet Management Portal (FMP) to a range of services such as -Traffic Light reports; review performance by driver or vehicle ranked according to predetermined criteria. - Peformance Trends; identify trends in fuel usage, driving style and environmental emissions - Environmental Reports; review specific environmental impact data by vehicle - Exception Reports; identify deviations from expected norms
Control Package is a complete range of services for customers who want to utilise the benefits of vehicle and driver performance follow-up in addition to broader overviews of the transport process and operational information. Access through the Scania Fleet Management Portal provides the following services in addition to the Analysis package. - Fleet Position; shows current vehicle position and status - Vehicle Tracking; historical review of specific vehicle routes over a given timeframe - Geofence triggers pre-determined notifications depending on vehicle movements.
SCANIA FLEET MANAGEMENT
Scania Communicator 200 is a dedicated telematics unit which is discreetly located in the vehicle. The unit collects, saves and sends information with a predetermined frequency for analysis and presentation through the Scania Fleet Management system. To use Scania Fleet Management Services a Communicator 200 will be required in each vehicle.

Scania Fleet Management Portal can be accessed from any PC connected to the internet; where a secure logon system protects your data. The simple browser based interface provides ready access to all subscribed services. Information about individual vehicles - or the entire fleet - is always available directly on your computer. Monitor Report is the heart of the Monitor package. A clear and concise report is delivered directly to your designated email address - without the need for portal access. Simple coloured arrows quickly identify positive or negative trends in key performance data including idle time, fuel consumption, driving style and, where available, Driver Support data from the vehicle instrument cluster. Fleet overview headers provide at-a-glance information about overall emissions and fuel consumption. Traffic Light Reports included within the Analysis Package provide clear colour coded ranking for both vehicle and driver performance data. All information is compared with associated thresholds which can be adjusted in line with business requirements.
Performance Trends a range of graphic and tabular reports are available to effectively monitor operational trends, vehicle performance and driving styles so that appropriate actions can be taken. Environmental Report review and clarify the environmental impact of specific operations. Identify areas and routes for improvement. Provide meaningful and consistent information for customers to gain further business opportunities.
System Requirements Vehicle: Scania P-, G-, and R-, series with CAN (J1939) control systems. Scania Fleet Management service and communication subscription. Fleet Management Portal: Internet Explorer 7 or above with Javascript, Internet connection 512Kbps or faster. Monitor Report: valid email address, Adobe Reader 9 or above.
Exception Reporting pinpoint events that deviate from the expected before they become a problem. User configurable event selections include service information, parking time and vehicle warnings. Fleet Position available with the Control Package graphic displays of vehicle position, current status, speed, direction and driver aid in planning activities in a busy operation. Vehicle Tracking replay historic route information for better understanding of traffic situations, diversions and hot spots affecting efficient operation. Monitor traffic infringements and control toll charges. Geofence user configurable zones support a range of notifications - arrival, departure, unauthorised use - to assist with effective planning and customer support.
