Lesley is involved with the day to day operations with respect to chemical and fertilizer applications and overall plant health. implementing it. We hired a gardener to come in a few times a week to mentor our students and Lesley has been front and centre with the daily duties to bring our gardens back to respectability. Her work in the gardens this year has been a huge reason why the Clubhouse surroundings are beginning to get their swagger back. It seems like Lesley has a hundred things going on at once, but she thrives on that. She has been asked to speak at the Ontario Golf Superintendents Association conference about the role of women in golf. Lesley will be attending a seminar by Bayer in September promoting the same program and she is volunteering at Magna in August for the CP Women’s Golf Championship. Lesley is the coordinator of our bee program as well and helps harvest and bottle the wonderful Scarboro honey. We at Scarboro are very lucky to have these two talented, dedicated individuals taking care of our course. They love Scarboro Golf & Country Club and what they do and it shows!
