Rock Hill / York County, SC
City of York www.yorkcitysc.com Historic downtown York is one of the area’s bestkept secrets. Small town hospitality and remarkable architectural features give the city of York that quaint village appeal visitors are looking for. With over 180 landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Places, York was once known as the “Charleston of the Upcountry.” As you stroll through downtown you will rediscover the history of “Old Yorkville”. The array of specialty shops, restaurants, and a historic movie theater make the charming downtown an experience individual’s return to time and time again. Handcrafted furniture, original art, high end clothing and jewelry, custom-made guitars, and even golf putters are among the many shopping treasures you’ll find in downtown York. If your taste runs to live music, movies or live theater, visit York on any evening or weekend. PLEASE RECYCLE THIS PUBLICATION
