WELCOME Welcome to the Swedish Chamber of Commerce’s Nordic M&A Forum 2021. With us today, we have guests and speakers from across the industry, from banks, asset managers, private equity and advisory firms, from both the City and the Nordics. We hope this will be a great opportunity to learn from, discuss and engage with interesting stakeholders from the Swedish-British financial community. As we leave, in many ways, a turbulent year behind us, we will today be discussing the year ahead for Nordic cross-border M&A and financing – beyond the pandemic and beyond Brexit. We will be looking to the future and the scale of opportunities in the Nordics, how disruptive technologies act as a driver for M&A and the future prospects of the City, and what it means for Nordic businesses. We hope that the forum will inspire conversation, spark new ideas and offer new connections and positive synergy. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our generous sponsors for making this forum possible.
