What science can do Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) A cancer-killing drug is attached to the monoclonal antibody through a stable connection (the linker), creating the ADC. The ADC binds to specific proteins on the surface of cancer cells, it is then internalised into the cell. Once inside the cancer cell, the cytotoxic drug is released, destroying the cancer cell.

Welcome Never before have the key qualities of leadership been so hard to define. However, in a time characterised by rapid change and swift turns, stable and fearless leadership is needed more than ever. We are hearing it over and over again, that the way we have been living will have to change, no matter the cost. And the arguments are all around us. Even after 1.5 years, the pandemic keeps catching us off guard, and the COP26 summit reminded us of the massive – and often uncomfortable – changes we will have to face in the upcoming decades. If the leaders of yesterday were elected for being strong and convincing, the leaders of tomorrow will, instead, have to be masters of rapid adaption. Survival of the fittest replaced by survival of the flexible? At Outer Thinking, we are diving into topics that were hard to imagine just a few years ago, but in order to stay successful, we need to keep up with the speed of change. A special thank you to our sponsors AstraZeneca, IKEA, Kindred, SAAB, Trustly and Zyn as well as our partners at the British Embassy Stockholm and the British-Swedish Chamber of Commerce for making this event possible. Last but not least, a big thank you to our guests and speakers for sharing their insights and expertise to help us all to think bigger and better.
