Tech Forum 2020 Programme

WELCOME TO TECH FORUM 2020 Welcome to the 2020 edition of Tech Forum - this year in the form of a virtual gathering. This has been a challenging year for many businesses and for all of us on a personal level. Even though live gatherings of this size are impossible to carry through at the moment, for us at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce it has been a matter of course to keep the conversation going in whatever format it may be. What better way to celebrate future technologies than by using tech as an enabler to come together today in these challenging times. Today we bring you an impressive line-up of speakers coming together to discuss the technologies of the future - and tech as an enabler for good. From investors and entrepreneurs, to SMEs, large corporates and public bodies - these speakers are all part of the wider tech eco-system in the UK and Sweden, giving their perspectives on how to solve the world’s problems together. We hope that this is an opportunity for you to explore and be inspired by new technologies, their applications and how we can use tech to meet the fundamental challenges facing us within the environmental and social impact. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors and partners, and give a special welcome to the Swedish tech delegation – London Bootcamp, from which you will hear pitches later in the programme. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is a platform for businesses to grow and develop, and to connect across the North Sea. We have helped businesses since 1906 and will continue to stay relevant to the current and future needs of the Swedish-British business community.
