Mindful Hypnotherapy: Principals and Practice Nicholas Olendzki, PsyD, Dartmouth, MA and Elizabeth E. Slonena, MSCP, PsyD, Asheville, NC 1 CE Mindfulness has become a significant and popular treatment modality among mental health providers, and yet research and specific recommendations for integrating mindfulness and hypnotherapy are still in their nascency. This workshop presents a specific model for integrating mindfulness and hypnotherapy into clinical practice, and offers opportunities for experiential learning. In the first part of the session, principals of mindfulness and initial empirical support will be discussed. The session will also include practical strategies for incorporating mindfulness suggestions into hypnosis. The second portion of the session will offer opportunities for experiential learning, practice, and discussion. Bibliography o
