Join a guided walk around Regensburg or take a ferry and sail the Danube Gorge to visit historic Weltenburg Abbey, where you can sample beer from one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world. Alternatively, take an active walking tour to Thurn und Taxis Palace.
Day 03
Passau f
Visit the medieval Czech city of Ceský Krumlov and discover its World Heritagelisted Old Town or tour Salzburg and explore the birthplace of Mozart and the city backdrop for the film ‘The Sound of Music’. Alternatively, discover the highlights of Passau during a walking tour.
Day 04
Melk > Dürnstein f
Be guided through Melk’s magnificent 18th century Benedictine Abbey or embark on a guided bike ride along the river from Melk to Dürnstein. Alternatively, meet the current owners of Artstetten Castle, once home to Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
This afternoon while docked in the picturesque port of Dürnstein, your Cruise Director will organise a special treat for you with a delicious tasting of local produce. Sample some local schnapps among other regional delights.

Tour Schönbrunn Palace or explore the highlights of Vienna with a local guide. Alternatively, cycle along the river to Danube Island or discover the Belvedere Museum, one of Europe’s most stunning baroque landmarks and home to the greatest collection of Austrian art.

Breathe in the opulence and luxury of Palais Liechtenstein while enjoying a glass of fine Austrian Sekt. Explore Bratislava’s Old Town on a walking tour or visit an underground cellar and taste a selection of wine from some of Slovakia’s finest vineyards.
Day 07
Budapest f
Join a guided city tour including a piano concert or discover the city’s Jewish heritage. Alternatively, take a guided hike to Buda Hill or journey to nearby Szentendre, known for its museums, galleries and artists. Budapest is the end of your cruise, but it will be the start of a lifetime of wonderful memories.

Budapest > Prague
