If you were wondering if the Scenic Rim region could possibly fit any more events in during June – the answer is YES!

One of the biggest Side Dishes is the Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular which happens bang in the middle of the month on 17-18 June. From tiny Shetland ponies to the towering Shire horses, all Clydesdales great and small are celebrated at this popular Clydesdale Show which also boasts the richest competition prize purse in the Southern Hemisphere!

Fans of country markets are spoilt for choice with the Scenic Rim home to nine throughout June, in Beaudesert, Boonah, Tamborine Village, Kooralbyn, Canungra, Tamborine Mountain, Beechmont and Rathdowney.

These markets are hyper-local and you’ll find fresh produce, bric-a-brac, treasures and great people!

The Scenic Rim is really shining in June, with two towns hosting their annual Agricultural Shows. Boonah Show is the first weekend across 2-3 June, while neighbouring Kalbar is 23-24 June. Country shows are a true celebration of country life and should not be missed (plus the cake produce displays are gallery worthy!).
