The gift of giving your guests a unique, relaxed and memorable experience that lasts a lifetime… these are the words spoken by the clever duo behind South East Queensland’s leading glamping hire company. Jayne and Dean Herrmann are the owners and operators of family run business Glamping Hire Co, a mobile glamping hire company servicing weddings, corporate events and private party celebrations.
Taking the stress and worry out of any occasion, Jayne and her husband Dean are hands on from the initial booking and enquiry, to the final pack down. Their beautiful all-weather glamping tents, complete with furnishings and bed linen packages, can be booked from a minimum of 5 tents up to 50 – a whole village if one likes – up to 100 guests can be catered for – solving the problem for many when looking at hosting a large country style celebration.
On this particular occasion, our resident photographer and stylist Carin Garland and myself, jumped at the opportunity to photograph with Glamping Hire Co for a collaborative feature article. With our car packed to the roof with local homewares, and a few nibbles, we set off to meet with Jayne and Dean at the stunning Overflow Estate 1895, located on the banks of the Wyaralong Dam.
Over a shared bottle of The Overflow’s popular Tempranillo 2018, Jayne outlined their love of bringing affordable pop-up accommodation to anyone outside of the traditional inner-city. Both Jayne and Dean come from farming backgrounds and appreciate the importance of bringing people together in a rural setting.
