GLAMPING ACTIVITIES

Like you've never glamped before...For some a great glamping experience is being parked up with a luxurious tent, in the middle of the wilderness. But what about this for an experience, surrounded by rainforest, with adventure activities, premium dining and luxuries all at hand. Welcome to the new Woodland Tents at Cedar Creek Lodges Tamborine Mountain, also home of the adventurers playground – Thunderbird Park – this takes fun and glamping to a whole new level. If relaxing in your tent or going for a bush walk isn’t quite adventurous enough for you, and you are still a child at heart, then why not try one of the many activities on site. Choose from the TreeTop Challenge, Laser Tag, Thunderegg Fossicking, Crystal and Gold panning, Lake Paddle Boats, Putt Putt Golf or Animal Farm. There are a number of activities at the park, all of which are listed on the Thunderbird Park website below – bookings are recommended.

LOCATION

Set in the Tamborine National Rainforest, on 114 acres of privately owned land, only 45 min from the Gold Coast, and an hour from Brisbane – is Cedar Creek Lodges and Thunderbird Park. A destination that offers guests a rainforest experience, with a wide range of activities and a number of accommodation options to choose from. Do as little or as much as you like here, there’s no shortage of entertainment or relaxation in this unique setting.

ACCOMMODATION

If you’re a couple looking for a fun yet luxurious glamping experience then this is it. The Woodland Tents are the perfect blend between luxury-style accommodation and camping in natural surrounds. Set overlooking the beautiful flowing water of Cedar Creek, the new Woodland Tents provide the ultimate experience in rustic luxury. Enjoy kingsized bed, large couch, wide screen TV, BBQ, fire pit and relaxed seating on the timber deck overlooking the creek below, not forgetting each tent has a private ensuite and outdoor shower.

KIOSK

For light snacks the park’s Kiosk is only a short stroll away. Coffee, sandwiches, salads and ice creams.

RAINFOREST RESTAURANT

For those who like to indulge the taste buds in an intimate setting, the Rainforest Restaurant and Lounge Bar will not disappoint. Enjoy a premium dining menu while sampling your way through the extensive wine and cocktail menu, after all, it’s not far to walk back to your tent. And the next day, simply keep on relaxing Scenic Rim Farm to Fork hamper which can be added on at the time of booking. All in all – a destination offering a wonderfully unique experience, for those who enjoy the outdoors, adventure and a little luxury.
