When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, or in this case Limoncello. Meet young Mum and new Beaudesert business owner, Kirsty-Lea doing just that. Emerging from lockdown restrictions with a good dose of inspiration, Kirsty-Lea identified the need for a homewares store in Beaudesert, and with the support of her loving husband Daniel, she made her dreams a reality – out of the lemons of lockdown, her beautiful homewares boutique – Là Modè Collection was born.

Since opening her beautiful bespoke homewares store, Kirsty-Lea has received much support from the Scenic Rim local community as well as the passing day trippers. Her keen eye for homewares, giftware and quality pieces, clearly more than just a fleeting hobby, Là Modè Collection is a warm and inviting space, a thoughtful collective of on trend colour palettes, carefully sourced items, keeping shoppers happily browsing until their hearts are content. She tells us what she loves most about being a small business owner…“seeing the reactions of customers when they find something special for themselves or someone they love, that’s what gives me the most joy. And I also love selecting products for the store with this in mind. I think with most small businesses it’s about putting your individuality into what you do, that’s why each boutique or café you visit in the region is unique. Small business owners are their businesses, and being a mother in business is also a huge achievement. My husband is my biggest supporter and is always pushing me to be the best I can be.”

Follow Là Modè Collection on Facebook and Instagram for the opportunity to win various giveaways. And don’t be shy, head on in to this bespoke boutique next time you are passing through the heart of the Scenic Rim – Kirsty-Lea is one clever inspiring young woman who certainly has made the most out of lemon times.
