Dishes are prepared using locally sourced ingredients, giving each meal a regional flavour. At Lumiére, our contemporary French restaurant and Champagne bar, diners can pair elegant, modern cuisine with a carefully curated range of exquisite Champagne from all over Europe.

They can take part in mixology cocktail programs and masterclasses at the Scenic Lounge Bar, while the whiskey bar is a strong draw for connoisseurs and aficionados. And when dining, I always say: try something you would never normally order. It’s very easy to elevate a lobster. Instead, we want to surprise with humble ingredients. When guests say ‘I’ve never had food like this’, then I know we’re doing the right thing.

One of the best things about taking a cruise is that you can visit multiple destinations, but only need to unpack once. Here are some essentials to include when sailing in Europe and the Mediterranean:
Lightweight waterproof jacket or raincoat, ideal for cool mornings and evenings.
A small size, secure day bag.
Workout gear for sessions in the PURE: Yoga & Pilates Studio or at the on board state-of-the-art gym.
Swimwear for the on board Vitality Pools and enjoying the water activities and beach visits.
High SPF-factor 30+ sunscreen and a hat – preferably one that’s foldable.

What to wear on board?
A good guideline is to keep it casual and comfortable during the day, and smart casual – or even a little dressed up if you wish – in the evening. Male guests usually pack a collared shirt, while women wear smart attire, for dining at specialty restaurants or watching a performance in the theatre.
