Last year, because of Jasper County First Steps: 74% more likely to score at the highest level on the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment 34% less likely to be chronically absent in kindergarten PROVEN RESULTS A 2019 study found that children who received First Steps local partnership services were: $1 = $1.53 Jasper County First Steps leveraged $106,075 from sources outside of state government, providing a match of $0.53 for every state dollar invested 143 educators participated in First Steps training and professional development, benefitting 500+ children 663 parents & caregivers received services and support to be their child’s first and most important teacher 692 children directly served in Jasper County

Opportunities to convene and partner with organizations that serve the needs of children, families and providers have allowed us to coordinate our resources to maximize overall impact. In addition, our commitment to quality service is evidenced in that all strategies that we deliver are evidence-based and implementedwith the highestlevels of fidelity
Our Partnership is also committed to providing innovative programming to families to ensure comprehensive support for their child’s well-being and development. Some of these auxiliary services include: #DadsMatter Fatherhood Initiative, PAT Angel Tree, Child Passenger Safety, Safe Sleep Education, Adult Mental Health FirstAid, Diaper Bank Distributions, and Read For TheRecord
In FY22, we participated in more than 30 outreach events to connect families with our services as well as other resources in our community We would like to thank all our partners and supporters – our success is only possiblebecause of “u”!
