One of PSPK's objectives is to make women more socially active and financially secure.
Introduction
During the visit to the center, I've gained so much knowledge especially on the culture and behavior of the place. It is surprisingly very interesting to get to understand the life of others from different backgrounds. The told and untold stories has opened the eyes of the voluntarists on the importance of establishing more social services in order to help the unfortunates to live the same life qualities of other people.
People from different walks of life
PSPK is a non-profit welfare an philanthropic organisation founded in 2006 by the Association of Services and Community Development of Gombak District, Selangor. The association has been providing single mothers and their children with a temporary home, as well as skill training centres and other self-development activity centres. The centre also has a proven track record of rehabilitating, empowering, and restoring individuals and local communities in terms of social integration and socioeconomic growth in order to achieve responsible, productive, and harmonious living since its start.
Aim
The aim of the involvement in the CSR is to further understand the culture and behavior of the unfortunate single mothers' community. While the country is evolving to a much modern and advance way of living, some groups of community have been left behind. This can be changed by understanding their needs as well as playing our role as part of the society
Objectuves
-Learning and experiencing the daily activity and the spaces required by single mothers to empower them to achieve their maximum potential by being critical of their own biases. More positive organizations, such as this one, should be encouraged.

They were offered the option to visit a sewing workshop where students may take scheduled sewing sessions while they were at the centre. Devoted... A group of students there listened intently to briefings given by the center's operator. It was discovered that the classes attended can provide exposure to people who are interested in or simply wish to try their hand at sewing. They will learn the fundamentals of sewing here, including how to cut fabric and use a sewing machine. The teachers who educate are usually outsiders who have been invited to deliver partnerships. Every amenity that has been supplied here will be replaced with better and more sophisticated ones, according to the findings. As a result of the earnings made, this has been accomplished.
Bakery Training Center Bakery Training Centre is one of many self-help centers for women that has equipped women to live self-sufficient lives by earning adequate income for themselves and their family. Therefore, they established this center as a source of money for the poor, as well as a place of rehabilitation and fellowship for the women to form a network among themselves in order to construct a strong community of learning and earning. One of the most popular choices is a baking lesson. They also get the opportunity to learn new and intriguing dishes while they are there. incorporating basic and advanced baking techniques to assist students hone their baking talents while also providing them with the possibility to establish their own baking business. They also operate a café here called Bites n Beans, where they offer their baked products and pastries. They usually ask Penang's original bakers to produce the soup to go with the Bengal roti. Baking equipments are gradually increased and upgraded from receiving profits and donations
They were greeted by the organization's staff while they were there. They have demonstrated the location where the baking activity is carried out; the baking workshop supplied is vast and comfortable, not to mention the advanced equipment provided, such as ovens, stand mixers, and others.

As a result, PSPK provides training for women to improve their computer abilities, allowing them to earn more money. It is also encouraged that students who do not have access to ICT training to take advantage of the Computer Training Centers. CIMB

Before wrapping up their tour for the day, they made sure to swing by the final stop, where they discovered that the facility follows strict 3R guidelines. They will recycle waste materials such as plastic, cans, paper, and other things to create a new product here. Here they have took advantage of the rooftop and used the space as a garden where they plant vegetables such as chilies, long beans, eggplants, tomatoes and so much more. They harvested goods are then sold to the public. There were attempts on learning how to grow and harvest different kinds of vegetables with different methods as well as growing the vegetables properly. What makes this centre stand out is how concerned they are about the environment's long-term viability. Even throughout the agricultural process, recycled plastic is utilised as a coaster and little pots for planting.
Result & Analysis Entrepreneurship is one way to women empowerment. Training centers offered by PSPK such as sewing, baking and computer undoubtedly has helped to improve the lives of many single mothers. Some has even started their own business, thanks to the knowledge gained and confidence that has been nurtured along the process. One of the occupants there, Mrs Malarvizhi a 43 years old single mother of 3 children are now successful as a result from attending the sewing training organized by PSPK Sewing Training Centre. She claimed that she has achieved more than what she would have ever imagined. From joining the training, Mrs Malarvizhi learnt so much and that this empowered her to open up her own tailoring shop. She is now able to live a much better life together with her family. Madam Pushpa, a 50-year-old single mother with seven children, maintains a market grocery stall. Due to a lack of patronage, her booth has been losing money for quite some time. She went to the conference and received a lot of encouragement and support for her business. My business has improved as a result of the PSPK Women Development Centre's empowerment speeches and the support of all the mothers. With each and every support given to these individuals, they would feel seen and included. Every member of the society from every walk of life deserves to get the same opportunity like the rest. We can't ignore the fact that women are society's backbone. As a corollary, we must provide them with as much assistance as possible in order for them to continue to build the country in numerous ways.
Conclusion
Ultimately, culture improves people's quality of life by defining their worth and interests. It has been an eye opener for me to see the necessity of us safeguarding the fate of women, especially those from various categories of women and girls, as a result of the CSR done at PSPK. This is to ensure that not just our economy improves, but that everyone has a better life, leaving no one behind, as stated in Sustainable Development Goal 5 on gender equality. Regardless of gender, every person on this earth have their own potential to make a change to the society. If everyone is given the chance to try and shine, we could witness a good change in the community as a whole. Sometimes the voices of these unfortunate groups are unheard as they are those who needed more attention, and it is our responsibility to ensure that everyone is being heard and understood. To summarize, the presence of more organizations and community services, such as PSPK, is critical in order to improve society's overall quality of life, regardless of race, religion, or gender.
