Ensure that the site has been inspected before carrying design and project management as over reliance on the information presented may result in costly erroneous assumptions being made. This applies not only to maps but also percieved site conditions which in reality need validation by proper site investigation.

A significant knowledge of contracts was gained with respect to thresholds, extension qualifying delays, compensation events, delay costs, time frame and channels through which the contractor makes a claim among others.

The importance of maintaining a clear and unambiguous goal, this not only simplifies the understanding, but it also reduces the complications in arising in terms of determining relationships between activities as well as determining resources and costs associated with each activity.

Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Visio, Excel and Project together to achieve an integrated project management software

Knowledge of coding requirements to upload videos onto wordpress. Techniques include embedding videos and mp3’s to automatically start playing upon opening of the site.

Extensive video editing techniques

An appreciation for the challenges involved in wastewater treatment plant construction, with particular emphasis on integrating the new build while the existing plant remains in operation.

Application of PMBOK methodologies in defining scope, sequencing activities managing stakeholders, etc.

Collaborative working, the importance of regular meetings and documenting progress. Included is the use of Google Drive which facilitated integrated files sharing and management.
