SAFETY TIPS alloween is the night kids enjoy and parents dread. But don’t be scared of a night of horrors. Halloween safety is simple with some common sense and quick tasks. Prevent trips and falls while trick or treating by hemming costumes 6 inches above the ground. Assure your little monster he'll still be scary even if his trainers are showing. A mask can impair the sharpest vision so face paint instead. They will be better able to see their friends, moving cars and curbs while out and about. Pin a card with your contact details inside your child’s costume in case they get lost. Now your only worry can be them eating a sack full of sweets in one night! Kids can forget standard safety precautions about not getting into cars or talking to strangers, not entering strange homes and basic road safety. A refresher session before going out will help make for a night filled with fun not fright.
