• Their secondary tusk will keep growing and will grow into their skulls • Its name also means pig deer • Genetically they are closer to sheep then pigs These interesting creatures are found on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, Togian, Sula, and Buru. Just like other pigs, the babirusa diet consist of anything it can find. However, unlike most pigs the babirusa has two stomach chambers where they digest their food. Looking at them, the thing that stands out the most are their four tusks. Their front two tusk will stop growing from all the digging done while their secondary tusks, located inside their mouths and grow out their nose, don’t stop growing and are primarily used to attract mates.
