APPOINTMENTS
LOCATION & PARKING
Due to the educational experience we strive to provide to our students, we require that our patients be available for continued care at all times throughout the year.
The School of Dentistry Oral Health Clinic is located on the 8th floor of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic located at 11400 University Avenue, Edmonton AB, T6G 1Z1. The building can be accessed via the 2nd floor pedway from the Health Sciences/Jubilee LRT station.
Our clinic runs from September until July from 9:00am-12:00pm and from 1:30pm-4:30pm. Appointments usually take longer than what patients are used to in private practice – up to 3 hours in length. If patients need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, a minimum 24 hours’ notice is required.
Covered parking is also available for a fee at the Kaye Edmonton Clinic Parkade, conveniently located on the west side of the building.
Given our level of commitment to the education of our students, missed appointments will be recorded. Patients will be permanently dismissed from our Oral Health Clinic after three missed appointments and/or short notice cancellations. Child care services are not available in our clinics, therefore, children are not to be left alone in our waiting areas. If children are being treated in the clinic, parents/guardians must wait in the designated waiting areas. Individuals not being treated are not permitted in the clinic. Zero Tolerance Policy: Patients will face dismissal from our Oral Health Clinic if behaviour is deemed disrespectful, in any way, when interacting with our students, residents, staff and/or faculty.
