ARE GENDER BIAS AND SEXISM A THING OF THE PAST IN ADLAND?
Given recent news and bad behavior coming from agencies and holding companies,
widespread debate has ensued whether these are “one-off” occurrences or evidence
of pervasive bias. The 3% Movement invited our community to share their experiences
and stories via our “Elephant on Madison Avenue”* survey. Nearly 600 women told us in
excruciating detail what it is like to be a woman in advertising.
