Parental Survey Responses 2013 We had 29 respondents, 2 of them electronic, 27 manual Your Child 100% of respondents felt that their child was happy at school. Over 93% said that they felt safe, made good progress were well looked after and were taught well. No families reported concerns about pupils’ behaviour and 96% believed that the school dealt effectively with bullying. Homework 67% of families reported that their child did not receive homework. Comment This is an area that requires further investigation. It is unclear from this whether parents would like pupils to receive homework and if so what kind of homework parents feel that their children need. Leadership and Management 93% of respondents felt that the school was well led and managed. Comment We would like to thank parents for their positive responses to this. We will always welcome any comments or suggestions that parents may have to make things even better. Information about School The overwhelming majority of you felt that the information gained from our Newsletter was just right and that they were easy to understand. Most people prefer 2 Newsletters a term and over 93% prefer to receive paper copies rather than through the website. Comment This is a very positive response and we thank parents for their positive comments. We will always welcome any suggestions that parents may have for content of Newsletters. Information from School 93% of those responding use a home/school diary, with the majority being filled in by the class teacher daily. 92% said that they themselves communicated using the diary three or more times a week and all respondents were happy with this method of home/school communication.
