Attendance and Punctuality news: Reception – 95.8% Year 1- 95.1% Year 2 – 97.7% KS1 – 96.2% Year 3 – 94.8% Year 4 – 96.2% Year 5 – 94.3% Year 6 – 99.6%. KS2 – 96.2% This week, our attendance is 96.2% - overall for the year it is 94.6. Thank you for your support. The best attended class this week is 6SHA with 100%. Well done 6SHA. The lowest attendance is 5RW with 93.5%. Come on 5RW, you need to improve! Bring on the competition, Y3, Y4 and Y5 – can you achieve 100% next week? Parent Leadership Group – Thank you once again to all the parents who attended our Parent Leadership Meeting last Friday. The minutes of the meeting and our Ofsted Parent View results are attached to Reporter. If you would like to have your say, please visit the Parent View website www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk. Our next meeting will be held on Friday 20th June at 9.00am. Parent Governor – We have four vacancies for Parent Governors. Information can be found attached to this Reporter. If you would like a nomination paper please visit our website www.revoe school.co.uk or you can request one from the main school office. Family Social Event –Thank you to everyone who supported our Bingo night last Thursday. The amount raised was £243.36. A huge thank you to Coop and Spearman butchers on Central Drive for their generous donations. Our next event will be a Family Quiz and Pizza night which will be held on Thursday 26th June. Tickets and further details will be sent out after half term. Water Park – There will be a meeting on Tuesday 3rd June at 3.15pm to discuss the final arrangements for the visit in July. It is important that parents attend as you will receive your child’s kit list and medical form which must be completed on the night. Should you have any problems please contact the school office. Pupil Tests – A massive thank you to all our Y2 and Y6 for setting an excellent example this week. All children were in school and on time during their SATs Week. We hope that all children in Y3, Y4 and Y5 will aspire to achieve the same fantastic attendance during their optional SATs next week. Sports News - Congratulations to our Boys’ Football Team who had their first win of the season against St Cuthbert’s on Tuesday - and what a win! The final score was an amazing 8 – 0. All the children were really well behaved, Mrs Singleton and Mr Wilson are so proud of them. Let us hope this is the start of things to come!! What’s On In Class – This week Y1 had a visit from the ‘Creepy Crawley Show’. The children had the opportunity to handle stick insects, cockroaches and a snake and they all really enjoyed the experience. On the 3rd June our Y2 children are having a visit from the Owl Man – we look forward to letting you know all about his visit. Y3 have planned visits to Blackpool Zoo and to Blackpool Tower – parent letters have been sent home. We are sure they will have a fantastic time. Children in Nursery, Reception, Y1 and Y2 will be having a visit from a mobile farm on Friday 6th June. This will be a chance for them to meet sheep, pig, goats and many more farmyard animals.
