Blackpool Youth Games Next week is Blackpool Youth Games which takes place at Stanley Park. Children from different year groups have been selected to represent Unity and will compete in various events including Football, Rounders, Athletics, Cricket, Swimming (at Palatine) and Cheerleading. Good luck to all children involved.
Programming Challenge This week five children from Year 3 and 4 went to Mereside Primary to take part in a programming challenge. The challenge was to control an LED light string using a Raspberry Pi and to make the string light up in different sequences. The children worked collaboratively and creatively together and successfully completed the challenge. Well done children.
Year 1 A big well done to Year 1 children for trying so hard with their phonics screening this week. Parents will shortly receive notification of the scores.
Year 3 Year 3 will begin their SATs tests next week. Please ensure your child is in school and arrives on time.
