Dear Parents OFSTED report Please find attached the OFSTED report that we have received in school today. We are very pleased with the report and feel it is an accurate reflection of the ‘Outstanding progress’ made in school. It will appear on the OFSTED website next week. I personally would like to thank ALL the staff, Governors and of course the children. The children have made excellent academic progress and we are expecting this year KS2 results to be even better than last year’s very good results. Year 1 phonics results were outstanding this year and KS1 results are higher than in previous years. Well done to all the children who took these tests. You will receive your children results when reports are published (July 15 th). STRIKE ACTION Due to strike action by several unions (teaching and non-teaching unions), for Health and Safety reasons we will have to close school on Thursday 10th July. Magpies will also be closed to children on this day. School will re-open on Friday 11th July at 8.55 am. WEBSITE We are currently still constructing our website. However current letters and events are displayed there. Please keep checking this as all newsletters are displayed on the website.
