19th September 2014
School Website Just a reminder that the school website is now up and running. It has lots of interesting and important information including term dates, dates of upcoming events within school, news, pictures and blogs. The web address is http://www.ladybridgeprimaryschool.co.uk . The website can also be found by typing Ladybridge Primary School Bolton into a search engine; it is most compatible with Google Chrome. There is also a free app. available for both iPhone and now android. To download the app. just search Schudio in your app. store/google play store, install, create an account by entering your details and select Ladybridge Primary School from the drop down list. KS1 Healthy Snacks Children in KS1are provided with a healthy school snack during the morning session. Any snacks brought in from home will be eaten during the afternoon break. Planners Every pupil has been given a planner. Please use the planner to help communicate with school. There is plenty of space for you and your child to write comments about books read, homework completed and any other concerns/comments you may have. This is particularly important if there is any aspect of learning that you feel your child is struggling with/has misunderstood. We expect parents to sign the planner each week. Staff will also sign it to show that comments have been read. Thank you. Appointments Please ensure all appointments are made out of school hours where possible. We appreciate hospital appointments can’t be changed, but we seem to be having a high number of children going to the dentist, doctors etc. Collecting children for appointments or children arriving after appointments disrupts the whole class. Please note, the office staff will need to see appointment cards/letters in future. Data Collection Sheets Thank you to all the parents who have returned their fully completed data collection sheets. However we have noticed that several have been returned without email addresses. If you haven’t already done so, please send your email address in to the office as soon as possible. This will save the office staff having to phone you for the information.
