School Update

School is closed Friday 3rd October and Monday 6th October Community Award Following a visit from Greater Manchester Prison Service last year, we have been awarded with a plaque, ‘The Community Team Pupil of the Year’. Each year we will award this plaque to a pupil who we feel has worked hard within / for the community. This plaque will be displayed in the entrance to school, along with the name of the pupil. Congratulations to Jack Fletcher who has been awarded it for 2014, for his campaign to collect glasses to support Vision Aid. Well done Jack! Being on time – Notification of change to morning access: Children are able to access their classroom from 8.50am via their classroom doors. The school bell will ring at 8.55am, when all pupils are expected to be in school, in order that they can be ready for registration at 9.00am prompt. All classroom doors will be locked at 9.00am prompt. If your child arrives after the doors are locked, they are expected to go to the main entrance, to ensure the office staff are able to add them to the class registers. Ladybridge Kids Club Ladybridge Kids Club will be open on the 3rd October and 6th October when school is closed for occasional days. Please contact Stella on 07759 143027 if you would like to book a place. Extra-Curricular Clubs COMMITMENT. Please emphasize to your child the importance of committing to a club. It is unfair on staff and other pupils if a child fails to attend simply because they have changed their mind or they don’t like it. If your child, for whatever reason, is unable to fulfil their commitment please tell the member of staff involved.
