Sponsored Sing Thank you for the tremendous support for our sponsored sing. We have raised £740! Here are the ten children who raised the most money with the prizes that they chose.
94% for whole school attendance The minimum acceptable attendance is 95%.
Please ensure your children are in school every day and on time. School starts at 8.55am. Reminder
School closes at 3.10pm each day. Many parents regularly arrive late to collect children which can be distressing for the child. At 3.15 any children not collected will be taken to the school office. Please collect your child promptly at the end of the school day.
Common Wealth Baton Relay Well done everyone! St Francis had a fantastic welcome from all children and staff on Wednesday 2nd July when they came to pass over the Commonwealth Games baton. Miss McCormick and Mrs Fendle thoroughly enjoyed the walk to Little Digmoor with the children chosen to represent our school. The children did us proud as always and we received a lovely welcome. Our school Commonwealth pledge: 'Working together as a family, respecting ourselves and each other and always trying our best. At Bishop Martin it is our mission to inspire, enjoy and achieve in everything that we do!'.
www.bishopmartin.lancs.sch.uk Breakfast Club Breakfast Club opens at 8.00am each morning. We are unable to accept children before this time for Health and Safety reasons. We thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Reports The choir also sang some of the songs at Beechwood Court and they donated some of the funds raised. Thank you!
Athletics A huge well done to the children that competed in the annual Athletics Tournament last night at Robin Park, Wigan. The effort, behaviour and teamwork from all the children were outstanding. As always our children did us proud!
Before the end of term you will be receiving your child's end of year report. Included in that report will be the name of the class teacher your child will be having next year. There will also be the opportunity to meet the new teacher on 22nd July after school. More details on this will follow.
