To his age, ability and aptitude, and
ii)
To any special educational needs he may have, either by regular attendance at school or otherwise”.
It is a legal obligation of all parents/guardians/carers to ensure their child attends regularly, by law all children of compulsory school age must get a proper full time education. The management of attendance Mrs D Townsend is Deputy Headteacher with full responsibility for the daily operation of The Ace Academy’s Attendance Policy. The school’s targets as agreed for the academic year 2013/2014 are: 95% Attendance, <7% P.A. In addition to the above targets, the following will be closely monitored and targets set on a termly/ ½ termly/monthly/weekly basis (according to need) in order to work towards the school’s agreed figures: Year Groups’ attendance and P.A.
